Warehouse Maintenance

Location: Onsite at 1000 Douglas Hills Rd, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122, United States

Hourly wage: $29.55–$33.05 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material-handling and building equipment.
• Inspect, clean, troubleshoot, and restore equipment to operational condition using established procedures.
• Repair lift trucks, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, dock equipment, and electronic and electrical equipment.
• Read blueprints, electronic and mechanical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Use the computerized maintenance management system to review workloads and record work orders, asset history, labor, and inventory usage.
• Operate powered material-handling equipment and safely lift, move, and carry supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience repairing or maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment, or 2 years of related vocational training.
• Experience working with electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment in an industrial or non-industrial setting.
• Maintenance Technician assignments require 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Maintenance Technician assignments require experience reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, potentially non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Strong focus on personal and workplace safety.
