Location: Fully remote within the United States
Salary: $65/hour on W-2

is developing a large-scale healthcare data platform supporting downstream analytics and operational workflows.
What you will do
- Build and maintain AWS-based data pipelines that ingest mainframe source data.
- Stream, reconcile, process, and validate source data before delivery.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines with AWS Glue.
- Provision clean, queryable datasets through AWS Aurora or RDS PostgreSQL.
- Manage S3 retention policies, archival strategies, and lifecycle operations.
- Automate deployments and workflow orchestration with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines, including the use of AI tools to improve productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional data engineering experience delivering pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, or data platform solutions.
- Production experience with AWS S3, AWS Glue, and RDS or Aurora.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining real-time streaming pipelines with Kafka.
- Strong experience with data reconciliation, quality checks, and validation processes.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- Ability to work remotely from the United States and accept W-2 employment.
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with mainframe or legacy-system data integration.
