Artificial Intelligence Engineer (LLM)

What you will do

• Implement, fine-tune, and optimize state-of-the-art large language models for performance, accuracy, and security use cases.
• Design and evaluate prompting strategies, application flows, and logic for LLM-powered features.
• Build and integrate retrieval-augmented generation, function calling, code interpreter, and agentic capabilities.
• Design and deploy scalable ML pipelines for batch and real-time workloads.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, product teams, and detection engineers to align AI capabilities with product goals.
• Lead new AI initiatives, guide technology choices in a microservices architecture, and document research and production results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in NLP, machine learning, or data science.
• Strong Python skills and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying LLMs such as GPT-4, Gemini, or similar models.
• Understanding of model training techniques, including data parallelism, model parallelism, and distributed training.
• Experience with AWS or GCP, distributed computing, and DevOps, MLOps, or LLMOps practices.
• Must be based in California, United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Experience building GenAI solutions with RAG frameworks or LLM agentic applications.
• Experience applying AI to cybersecurity workflows.
• Strong research-to-production experience.
• Experience with R, which is a plus.
