Design Lead - Consumer Platform (AI)

hirify.global is building an AI-powered consumer health platform that helps people understand their cancer risk and take timely action.

What you will do

• Own the design vision for the consumer-facing platform across mobile and web.
• Partner with C-suite, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver cohesive experiences aligned with business strategy.
• Translate complex risk assessment outputs and diagnostic pathways into clear, accessible user experiences.
• Design trusted, low-friction flows for sharing sensitive information, understanding cancer risk, and navigating next steps.
• Conduct lightweight user research and testing to validate and improve the experience.
• Establish scalable design systems, principles, and best practices while laying the groundwork for a future design team.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in consumer product design.
• Exceptional ability to simplify complex concepts into intuitive, human-centered experiences.
• Deep empathy and experience designing for sensitive moments.
• Strong systems thinking and experience building and scaling design systems.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and making thoughtful trade-offs quickly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with behavioral science or behavior-change design.
• Experience with 0-to-1 or early-stage products.
• Interest in trust, health literacy, behavioral change, and the intersection of design and healthcare.
