Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build dedicated agent harnesses and sub-agent frameworks that allow agents to call other tools as capabilities.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of new MCP servers, services, and toolkits to enable real-world outcomes for enterprise customers.
• Fix rough edges in agent interactions by building missing tools and improving existing catalog quality.
• Develop next-generation evaluation and testing systems to programmatically measure tool behavior across models and surfaces.
• Engage with and contribute to the evolving Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience shipping production code.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming APIs at scale, including REST, auth flows, and rate limiting.
• Proven experience with LLM applications, including prompting, retrieval, tool use, or agent design.
• A testing mindset focused on catching real failures rather than simple pass/fail checks.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a desire to build infrastructure that does not yet exist.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the MCP ecosystem or Go programming language.
• Experience building evals or measurement systems for ML/AI behavior.
• Background in API platforms, data warehouses, or developer tools.
• Open-source contributions and early-stage startup experience.
