Senior Laboratory Manager (Clinical Laboratory)

Location: DeLand, Florida, United States; onsite

Salary: $97,100–$148,700 annually, plus a $7,500 annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage daily operations and performance for a high-volume, high-complexity clinical laboratory.
• Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory supervisors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and federal and state laboratory regulations.
• Drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor staffing, workflows, and operational metrics.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain exceptional service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of laboratory leadership experience in a high-volume, high-complexity testing environment.
• Medical Technologist certification from ASCP, NCA, AAB, or an equivalent organization.
• Florida Supervisor License required.
• Strong knowledge of CAP, CLIA, and laboratory regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
