Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP, Remote (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; active licensure in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland is required, or hirify.global will sponsor licensure in these states. Core hours are after 4 pm ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

Salary: $72,500 guaranteed base salary for a 20-hour/week schedule; total annual earning potential of $72,500–$175,000+ USD. Additional patients are compensated at $100 per clinical hour.

What you will do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients ages 2–26.
• Create treatment plans with psychotherapists and interdisciplinary specialists.
• Provide psychiatric medication management and oversee diagnostic testing.
• Educate parents and caregivers about children’s mental health care.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant clinical records and deliver care through virtual platforms.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure, including experience with children or adolescents.
• Active license in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland, or willingness to obtain the required licenses through Blackbird-sponsored support.
• DEA license and state prescriptive authority.
• Availability for core hours after 4 pm ET on weekdays and/or weekends.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual telehealth platforms.
