SAP Frontend Developer (SAPUI5/Fiori)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, build, and enhance modern SAP Fiori applications for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Own the full SAPUI5 and Fiori development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, ABAP developers, and UX teams.
• Apply SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and clean-architecture principles.
• Deliver responsive user experiences focused on usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
• Deploy Fiori applications to ABAP frontend and SAP BTP runtimes.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of SAP Fiori and UI5 development experience, with strong hands-on experience in SAPUI5, Fiori elements, and Fiori Launchpad.
• Experience with OData v2/v4 modeling and consumption, ABAP CDS views, BOPF, and Gateway service development.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript ES6+, CSS, SAP security patterns, UX, accessibility, performance, communication, and documentation.

Nice to have

• SAP Fiori or UI5 certifications.
• Experience with SAP Build Apps, low-code platforms, SAP Mobile Services, or hybrid mobile applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Project Piper and GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to TypeScript-based UI5 development.
