Associate Scientist - Technology-Enabled Experimental Inflammation Discovery (AI)

What you will do

• Design and execute cellular and molecular experiments for target discovery and mechanistic insight in inflammation biology.
• Work with complex cellular systems, including organoids, co-cultures, and other disease-relevant models.
• Analyze and integrate experimental data into biological insights and clear research decisions.
• Apply AI-enabled, computational, data-analysis, visualization, and automation tools to experimental research.
• Manage samples, cells, timelines, controls, documentation, and parallel experimental workflows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and troubleshoot experiments using experimental and computational evidence.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 1 year of scientific research experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years of scientific research experience, in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell biology and molecular or cellular assay development.
• Ability to analyze and communicate complex data using scientific data-analysis or visualization tools.
• Strong experimental judgment, troubleshooting, organization, collaboration, and scientific documentation skills.
• Ability to work with moderate discretion and limited supervision in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with skin-derived tissues or cells, keratinocytes, or mast cells.
• Experience with multiparameter flow cytometry, quantitative imaging, assay automation, or high-content analysis.
• Experience with mouse models in inflammation or immunology.
• Experience applying AI-enabled scientific tools, coding, scripting, computational approaches, or advanced data-analysis workflows.
