Supply Chain Data & Analytics Intern

Location: Torrance, California, United States. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations is required under ITAR export regulations.

What you will do

• Develop ETL pipelines and automate data collection from internal and external sources.
• Build predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier risk analysis.
• Analyze lead times, procurement trends, logistics efficiency, and operational metrics.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time operational insights.
• Perform scenario modeling for production, procurement, and distribution decisions.
• Implement data validation and quality checks, present analyses to leadership, and contribute to scalable supply chain analytics practices.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning applied to operations or supply chain problems.
• Interest in supply chain operations, data-driven decision-making, and improving efficiency and resilience.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, self-direction, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience in aerospace, satellite, telecommunications, or defense.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience.
