Fullstack Software Development Engineer II - High Value Send (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington, United States; onsite Tuesday through Thursday each week, with additional onsite attendance possible based on business needs.

Starting base salary: $144,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity and other compensation components.

What you will do

• Build customer-facing web, mobile, and backend features for the High Value Send experience.
• Apply customer context and data to technical decisions for high-value transfers.
• Ship reliable, observable, and scalable production features.
• Contribute to systems meeting availability and latency SLOs.
• Partner with product, design, data, and engineering teams to define technical trade-offs and deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions while mentoring SDE 1s and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience delivering end-to-end production features.
• Experience with TypeScript and React, or native mobile development for iOS, Android, or React Native.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
• Experience with distributed, large-scale systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and managed services.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, payments, or regulated industries where reliability, security, and compliance influence engineering decisions.
