Sr. Agile Business Systems Analyst

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; hybrid with onsite work required every Tuesday and Wednesday

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Create and maintain Agile backlogs covering epics, features, and user stories.
• Coordinate Scrum activities using Jira and/or Monday.com alongside the Project Manager.
• Develop test plans with business stakeholders and support QA activities.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, operational procedures, project scope, and System Engineering Methodology business analysis deliverables.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• At least 5 years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements, managing Agile work items, and supporting projects through the lifecycle.
• At least 5 years of understanding of Business Analysis, QA, and Development roles and responsibilities.
• At least 5 years of experience documenting as-is and to-be business processes.
• Experience creating test plans and supporting QA activities.
• Ability to work onsite every Tuesday and Wednesday in Lansing, Michigan.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience creating product roadmaps.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience with Figma and Visio.
• Mentoring or coaching experience supporting Agile adoption and sustainable business processes.
