Cybersecurity Engineering Lead (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define and implement the cybersecurity strategy.
• Deliver complex cybersecurity initiatives and innovative security projects in cooperation with departments, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, lead security assessments, and support new business initiatives.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity systems within the approved budget and plan the cybersecurity budget.
• Facilitate security KPI reporting and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with international stakeholders across the Deutsche Telekom Group.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, telecommunications, IT engineering, electronics, or another technical field.
• English proficiency at B2 level in speaking and writing.
• Experience working in complex, multinational environments and defining and executing cybersecurity strategies.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and at least three IT security areas, including network security, vulnerability management, identity and access management, penetration testing, cloud security, data security, web application security, or forensics.
• Practical knowledge of NIST, uKSC, and ISO 27001, with strong presentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, SABSA, CRISC, or SANS MGT514.
• Project management experience from project kick-off through completion.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and negotiation skills.
