Sr. Director, Therapeutic Area Insights – Neuro & Other Rare (Biopharma)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey office, with remote work most of the time and in-person collaboration as needed. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

Salary: $214,000–$292,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of forecasting, insights, and analytics plans for the Neuro and Other Rare therapeutic-area portfolio.
• Advise therapeutic-area leadership and Global Program Teams on data-driven program strategy, go-to-market models, and competitive strategy.
• Identify key business questions and design strategic market research plans to support portfolio planning.
• Lead end-to-end research projects, including objectives, vendor execution, analysis, interpretation, and communication of findings.
• Manage external vendors, RFP processes, research methodologies, budgets, and forecasting activities.
• Develop demand and sales driver models, quantify scenarios and sensitivities, build strategic narratives, and mentor a high-performing analytics and research team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic consulting, market research, or business development within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Deep experience with one-time or specialized in vivo or ex vivo therapies administered in treatment centers, such as gene, gene-editing, or cell therapies.
• Leadership experience selecting, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify insights, and communicate concise strategic narratives to senior leadership.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
