TL;DR
Sr. Director, Therapeutic Area Insights (Biopharma): Leading the strategy, design, and implementation of forecasting, insights, and analytics plans for a rare disease portfolio with an accent on gene therapies and other modalities. Focus on shaping program strategies, developing robust revenue forecasts, and enabling data-informed decision-making across go-to-market models.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to work from the Bridgewater, NJ office
Salary: $214,000 – $292,000 Annual

What you will do
- Serve as the primary insights and analytics advisor to Therapeutic Area leadership and Global Program Teams.
- Design and execute strategic research plans to inform portfolio planning and strategy development.
- Lead long-range forecasting by developing demand and sales driver models and quantifying key scenarios.
- Manage external vendors for market research, competitive intelligence, and analytics.
- Translate complex data into strategic narratives to drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making.
- Mentor and build a high-performing team of experts in forecasting and market research.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic consulting, market research, or business development within the biopharmaceutical industry
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Deep understanding of one-time specialized in vivo or ex vivo therapies (e.g., gene therapies, cell therapies)
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring high-performing teams.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
