What you will do

• Develop and maintain modular data ingestion and processing pipelines using Lakeflow and Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Manage and tune the Databricks environment for optimal performance and scalability.
• Configure enterprise data lineage and metadata management using Unity Catalog.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to build robust data services using Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Act as a technical consultant to propose infrastructure improvements and evaluate new technologies.
• Automate complex workflows using Managed Airflow or Databricks Workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Databricks ecosystem.
• Proven experience with AWS infrastructure including S3, ECS, and Lambdas.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated data movement via Fivetran.
• Ability to think strategically about system architecture and scalability.
