Senior GTM AI Engineer

Location: Oakland, California, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work-from-home option on Tuesday and Friday.

Salary: $154,000–$213,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy conversational AI experiences, intelligent assistants, and context-aware agents for GTM workflows.
• Automate approvals, data maintenance, reporting, process investigations, and other repetitive operational work.
• Develop decision intelligence that flags deal risks, identifies expansion opportunities, and highlights operational bottlenecks.
• Own the GTM AI strategy and roadmap, including knowledge architectures, semantic layers, and metric lineage.
• Establish governance for sensitive data, security, privacy, responsible AI, model performance, agent performance, and business outcomes.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and Systems leadership to run structured experiments and drive AI adoption.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in GTM analytics, revenue operations, business systems, or data products.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and shipping production AI agents, conversational tools, or workflow automations.
• Experience developing LLM-powered applications with OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable enterprise models, including prompt design, context management, structured outputs, and model selection.
• Experience with tool and function calling, agent orchestration, multi-step workflows, memory, human-in-the-loop controls, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Working proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with experience translating B2B SaaS processes into production software.
