Senior Program Manager, Safety, Health & Wellness

Location: Tucson, Arizona, USA; hybrid work combining office, remote, and field time, with regular travel between Phoenix and Tucson and occasional domestic travel up to 10%.

Salary: $69,939–$92,500 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate statewide Health and Safety & Wellness strategy across the Phoenix and Tucson offices while preserving local flexibility.
• Oversee program operations, service quality, trauma-informed implementation, case coordination, grant activities, budgets, deliverables, and reporting.
• Supervise program supervisors, staff, AmeriCorps members, interns, and volunteers while providing coaching and leadership development.
• Develop and expand services including intensive case management, anti-trafficking and survivor support, behavioral health, chronic disease prevention, maternal and child health, healthcare navigation, and health education.
• Build relationships with health agencies, healthcare providers, universities, Medicaid plans, behavioral health providers, law enforcement, community organizations, and funders.
• Identify and develop grant opportunities, diversify funding, and coordinate multidisciplinary partnerships and community outreach.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in social work or equivalent work experience required; graduate degree in social work, public health, or a related field strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of related professional experience, including supervision of case management staff, grant reporting, and program development; multi-site or cross-program management experience preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed, victim-centered, and/or public health service models.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills required; bilingual ability preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, writing, analytical, communication, teamwork, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites and operate as a flexible team member.
• Valid driver's license, active insurance, and reliable transportation required for regular travel between Phoenix and Tucson.
• Must possess or be eligible to receive a fingerprint clearance card.
• Computer literacy required; database experience preferred.
