Staff DevOps Engineer (IoT)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States. The role includes access to technologies subject to U.S. export control regulations and may require U.S. person classification or prior government authorization.

Base pay: $136,000–$204,000 per year across the United States.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Enterprise to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform and administer JFrog Artifactory for artifact storage and dependency management.
• Implement configuration management, operational automation, monitoring, and alerting with Ansible, Python, and Datadog.
• Collaborate with software, innovation, and silicon teams to streamline deployments and improve release processes.
• Optimize reliability, security, compliance, and performance across environments while mentoring DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or systems engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting languages, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience managing GitHub and Artifactory deployments, virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi/vSphere, and monitoring or logging tools.
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, cloud architecture, and HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, software development lifecycle, code review, and continuous improvement skills.
