Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Palo Alto, United States, with in-office collaboration three days per week

Salary: $188,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and deliver product and technology features end to end, from design and specification through development, testing, and launch.
• Develop web applications and cloud services that deliver generative AI capabilities to customers.
• Investigate, prototype, and implement innovative solutions across the technology stack.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, data science, and engineering stakeholders.
• Define and promote best practices for modern web applications and cloud services.
• Deliver readable, high-quality software that can be reused by other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with AI tools or Claude Code.
• Experience developing on a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with relational or NoSQL databases and pub/sub systems such as Kafka, AWS SNS, or Azure Event Hubs.
• Experience building bulk ingestion pipelines and data analytics services.
