Part-Time Cardiac Monitoring Technician (Digital Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid position in San Francisco, CA; Deerfield, IL; or Houston, TX, with two days per week in the office. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of San Francisco or within 70 miles of Houston or Deerfield. Approximately six weeks of training must be completed in the office.

Estimated pay range: $23.95–$27.78 per hour.

What you will do

• Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and complete data quality.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and recognize clinically significant cardiac events.
• Communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians when needed.
• Perform quality assurance on every report and make corrections before final delivery.
• Develop ECG interpretation skills while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance, patient confidentiality, and best clinical practices.

Requirements

• At least one year of hands-on cardiac rhythm interpretation experience in a clinical, diagnostic, monitoring, or telemetry environment.
• Experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician, Telemetry Technician, Holter Scanner, ECG Technician, Cardiac Technician, or in an equivalent cardiac rhythm analysis role.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to work to healthcare quality, accuracy, and productivity standards and use multiple software applications.
• Candidates without RN, EMT-P, or CCT certification must obtain CCT certification within 120 days of hire.

Nice to have

• RN, EMT-P, CCT, CRAT, or EKG certification.
• Associate degree or coursework in cardiovascular technology, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with remote or ambulatory cardiac monitoring, Holter monitoring, or telemetry services.
