PLM Integration Engineer (Windchill)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and develop integrations between PTC Windchill and ERP systems including SAP, Oracle EBS, and Oracle Cloud.
• Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX, including check-in/check-out workflows and metadata mapping.
• Develop integrations with MES, MOM, and quality systems using REST, SOAP, OData, Info*Engine, and custom Java services.
• Implement message-based and event-driven integrations with MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, and SAP CPI.
• Optimize high-volume integrations and lead migrations from legacy point-to-point connections to middleware-mediated patterns.
• Create integration documentation and runbooks, provide post-go-live support, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PLM integration experience focused on Windchill; the position listing also states six-plus years of required experience.
• Hands-on experience with Info*Engine, the Windchill Java API, PLM-to-ERP integrations, CAD integration patterns, and Windchill’s data model.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI, plus strong SQL and REST/SOAP web services skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• PTC Windchill certifications.
• ThingWorx or IIoT integration experience.
• Exposure to API management platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns.
• Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.
