TL;DR
PeopleSoft Platform Developer (PeopleSoft): Operating and evolving enterprise PeopleSoft environments with an accent on PeopleTools upgrades, platform configuration, security, search services, and cloud and middleware integrations. Focus on designing reliable PeopleSoft infrastructure, administering Oracle and Linux systems, supporting HA/DR, and improving automation and production operations.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do
- Architect, install, configure, upgrade, and operate enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
- Manage PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager, image applications, and security configurations.
- Operate PeopleSoft application, process scheduler, search, and middleware services.
- Integrate PeopleSoft environments with cloud and middleware platforms while supporting HA/DR operations.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into reliable solutions.
- Contribute to code and design reviews and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least five years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience, including hands-on upgrades and PUM.
- Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, PeopleSoft application servers, and process scheduler servers.
- Experience administering Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for PeopleSoft.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration, Linux/Unix, and shell scripting.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling, HA/DR, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.
Nice to have
- PeopleSoft certifications.
- Experience running PeopleSoft on OCI, AWS, or Azure.
- Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, and PeopleSoft Selective Adoption.
