Mental Health Therapist (Missouri)

Location: Remote within the U.S.; must have office space to see clients in Missouri. Clients may be served in Kirksville, Lees Summit, Saint Joseph, West Plains, Chillicothe, Hannibal, and Poplar Bluff. In-person care is strongly preferred.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, including complex and severe presentations.
• Apply treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT, alongside measurement-based care and skills practice.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to client crises when needed.
• Deliver care remotely and, where possible, in person through a private or group practice.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical-track program, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent independent license with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience providing evidence-based treatment and following clinical best practices.
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Experience managing clinical risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have office space available in Missouri.
