Salary: $191,000–$222,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage Respiratory Therapy teams, staffing, workflows, and daily operations.
• Oversee adult inpatient respiratory care and services in a Level III NICU.
• Implement clinical standards, protocols, and evidence-based respiratory care practices.
• Monitor quality, patient outcomes, productivity, compliance, and operational performance.
• Lead process improvement and resolve complex patient and service issues.
• Develop staff, manage resources and budgets, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of inpatient Respiratory Therapy management experience in a hospital environment; supervisory-only experience does not qualify.
• Experience with adult inpatient care and Level III NICU services.
• Recent experience in a union hospital environment.
• At least 7 years of Respiratory Therapy experience and 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist certification, and National Respiratory Therapy Board certification.
• BLS certification required. A bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Background with Sutter, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, UCSF, or Stanford.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
