Sr. Software Engineer (Java/Python)

Location: Remote within the United States; initial on-site onboarding at a designated company location is required. Up to 5% domestic or international travel may be required. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $124,000–$170,500 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Develop highly scalable cloud-first solutions for public and private platforms.
• Understand and enhance complex data workflows at scale.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate technologies that improve platform capabilities.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions that improve patient outcomes and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 5 years of software development experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 9 years of experience.
• At least 4 years of enterprise software design and development experience with Java and Python.
• At least 4 years of experience with highly scalable AWS cloud solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience developing relational and NoSQL solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience in an automated CI/CD environment.
• T3 and T5 Public Trust security clearances are required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions in private, public, government, or military environments.
• StateRAMP or GovRAMP certification experience.
• Docker, containers, healthcare, HL7, FHIR, Agile, and test automation experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
