Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (OCI)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale, secure, and resilient Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
• Design landing zones and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Lead workload migration and ongoing cloud operations, including cost optimization and observability.
• Build and operate OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, database, and Oracle Kubernetes Engine environments.
• Develop CI/CD automation and scripts using Python and Bash.
• Partner with database, application, and security teams to support mission-critical Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on OCI experience.
• Production-level Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Experience with OCI services, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills, plus expertise in cloud security, IAM, and compliance.
• Experience with observability tooling, incident response, troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud or Autonomous Database at scale.
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures involving OCI and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with FinOps and regulated workloads on OCI.
