Materials Coordinator/Inventory Specialist

Location: Wheeling, West Virginia, United States; onsite

Pay rate: $22 per hour

What you will do

• Issue, receive, inspect, sort, record, store, and ship materials under proper authorization.
• Maintain material accountability, inventory records, storage locations, bins, and racks.
• Prepare shipping documents and handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.
• Operate inventory management systems, computers, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
• Operate forklifts, trucks, hoists, cranes, order pickers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Perform inventory cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and process approved adjustments.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in inventory control, material handling, warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use inventory management software such as Maximo; Microsoft Excel and Word experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of shipping and relocating inventory, basic math, and clear communication.
• Valid state driver's license and the ability to operate road vehicles and motorized forklifts.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds and successfully complete the Physical Ability Test.
