Senior Java Developer

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Up to 10% travel is required. Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Java applications and services supporting the MineStar ecosystem.
• Develop clean, secure, resilient, well-tested, and maintainable code with documentation and reviews.
• Deliver features through the full software development lifecycle, from refinement and estimation through testing and release.
• Contribute to solution design and technical decisions for complex distributed and real-time systems.
• Monitor production services, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Quality Engineering while mentoring other engineers and supporting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing mission-critical Java software in multithreaded and distributed environments.
• Expertise in concurrent processing, real-time system performance, algorithm-based software development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle and structured software delivery methodologies.
• Commercial experience with microservices, distributed architecture, modern database design, cloud infrastructure, build and dependency management tools, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices development, and modern security principles.
• Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
