Strategy Analyst/Associate (Bioprocessing)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; remote work will be considered

Salary: $128,000–$185,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for variable cash compensation and, where applicable, equity.

What you will do

• Support the annual strategic planning process and strategic initiatives across business units, functions, and geographies.
• Conduct primary and secondary market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to assess growth opportunities and risks.
• Analyze and synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Build financial models and business cases for strategic projects, including mergers, acquisitions, equity investments, partnerships, and new product launches.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support project planning, stakeholder alignment, execution, and diligence activities across R&D, commercial, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, life science tools, bioprocessing, or a similar industry.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure complex business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated experience conducting primary and secondary market research and synthesizing findings independently.
• Highly advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, work proactively, and operate comfortably with ambiguity.
