What you will do

• Execute composite structural analyses for flight-capable hardware across static, buckling, modal, and fatigue load cases.
• Own margins and substantiation for primary and secondary structures, translating results into design guidance and weight-efficient solutions.
• Develop and maintain FEM models, assumptions, and documentation for repeatable and reviewable engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with loads, manufacturing, design, and certification stakeholders to align analysis with requirements, producibility, and verification needs.
• Deliver analyses supporting major program milestones and improve procedures, templates, and best practices to reduce bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Significant experience in structures engineering with a focus on composite structures analysis.
• Strong FEM experience in static, buckling, modal, and fatigue analysis, including composite-specific failure modes and margins.
• Experience managing global vehicle FEM models.
• Working knowledge of prepreg, RTM, infusion, autoclave, and OOA composite materials and processes.
• Strong fundamentals in laminate theory, load paths, structural sizing, requirements, loads and margins workflows, and certification-oriented documentation.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach in fast-moving, interdisciplinary teams.
