Electrical Supervisor - AWE

Location: Onsite at AWE, Aldermaston, Reading, United Kingdom. Six-month temporary assignment with a 10-days-on, 4-days-off rotation.

What you will do

• Supervise electrical installation, repair, maintenance, and setting-to-work activities across the site.
• Plan work schedules, estimate time and material requirements, and coordinate the electrical workforce.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, electrical legislation, codes, standards, and site-specific safe systems of work.
• Monitor workmanship, quality documentation, inspections, ITPs, LTQRs, and compliance check sheets.
• Review project plans and structures for compatibility with existing electrical codes and maintenance standards.
• Support engineering design requirements, surveys, reports, budgeting, and delivery within schedule and cost targets.

Requirements

• Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• JIB Registered Trade Card with Approved Electrician grading or higher.
• City & Guilds 2380 18th Edition and City & Guilds 2391, or equivalent electrical testing and inspection qualification.
• SSSTS or equivalent supervisor-level safety training and three-day first aid training.
• Practical experience with high- and low-voltage electrical systems, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Security clearance is required.
