Sr. Quality Engineer (Robotics & Automation)

hirify.global develops engineered components and subsystems for mission-critical healthcare, advanced manufacturing, robotics, and 3D metal printing applications.

What you will do

• Create quality processes that comply with customer, regulatory, and ISO requirements.
• Investigate customer and internal quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assess product and process quality risks and recommend improvement actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering to prevent potential quality risks.
• Create quality plans for new product introductions and analyze inspection data for trends.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events and defect reduction efforts, and recommend quality equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline other than software, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering.
• At least 2 years of quality experience in manufacturing, or 4 years of experience in another manufacturing role.
• Experience maintaining EU, UL, and CE Marking compliance.
• Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, and A3.
• Technical problem-solving and decision-making skills involving electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong organizational, project management, data analysis, communication, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Experience with an ISO 13485:2016-compliant Quality System.
