Senior AI Applied Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with two office days per week

What you will do

• Design and deliver complex features for digital banking products across the full software development lifecycle.
• Build performant, secure, and scalable frontend and backend components integrating with APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to LLM-based voice assistants and real-time personalization engines using OpenAI and machine learning models.
• Develop entitlement and fraud prevention services with strong security, scalability, and resilience requirements.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, architectural decisions, and reduction of technical debt.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and UX designers in a pod-based delivery model.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
• Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems such as Webpack and Jenkins.
• Experience designing systems with Enterprise Integration Patterns and complex data flows between services.
• Exposure to Java, Spring JPA/Hibernate, Maven, microservices, and cloud technologies.
• Experience improving tooling, reducing technical debt, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent spoken and written English is required.

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Experience with Netflix OSS.
• Previous fintech or banking experience.
