Head of Global SEO/AEO (AI)

Location: San Francisco or Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule; standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with work-from-home options on Wednesdays and role-dependent Fridays.

Base salary: $175,000–$205,700 CAD per year, plus potential equity, sales incentive pay, and benefits.

What you will do

• Set the global SEO/AEO strategy and roadmap for PLG and SLG acquisition motions.
• Own channel forecasting, budget planning, reporting, and executive performance communication.
• Build AEO frameworks and measurement for visibility and citation in AI answer engines.
• Direct technical SEO, content, agent-led content, and link-building strategies across international markets.
• Build attribution infrastructure with Marketing Operations and Analytics to connect organic activity to trials, MQLs, and pipeline.
• Hire, coach, and lead the SEO/AEO team while managing agencies, contractors, and agent-versus-human resource decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of SEO experience with senior team leadership in B2B SaaS.
• Proven success scaling organic acquisition globally across both PLG and SLG motions.
• Hands-on experience developing AEO strategies, running experiments, and measuring AI answer engine results.
• Deep technical SEO knowledge covering site architecture, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, and international SEO.
• Data-driven operating style with experience building models, prioritizing through experiments, and using SQL.
• Experience hiring and developing teams across multiple regions and time zones, with executive-level communication skills.
