TL;DR
QA Automation Specialist (Playwright): Developing automated functional, regression, and end-to-end tests for a large-scale enterprise platform modernization project with an accent on test coverage, API and data validation, and defect tracking. Focus on converting manual test cases into automation, executing CI test suites, and maintaining quality across a multi-phase migration.
Location: 100% remote; candidates can work from anywhere in the listed countries

What you will do
- Develop and maintain automated functional, regression, and end-to-end tests with Playwright.
- Convert repeatable manual test cases into automated tests and execute test suites to identify failures and defects.
- Perform manual QA, API testing, and data validation alongside automation work.
- Document test cases and known issues in Qase and track defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps.
- Support CI pipeline test execution, regression and release testing throughout the platform migration.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders during requirements clarification and Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software QA or testing, including test automation.
- Hands-on Playwright experience or comparable tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Proficiency in a scripting language; JavaScript is especially useful for the Vue.js-based environment.
- Familiarity with C#, DHTMLX, Vue.js, Qase or similar test management tools, Jira, and GitHub.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA principles, SDLC, test case design, debugging, and risk analysis.
- Excellent English communication skills, independence, proactivity, and experience with Agile development.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- ISTQB or another relevant certification.
