Material Handler, 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 8 am to 4 pm (Manufacturing)

Location: Aurora, Illinois, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm. Overtime and variable weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.

Starting pay: $21–$24 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Produce, package, and prepare polishing pads and other products for shipment.
• Receive raw materials and containers using forklifts and hand trucks.
• Complete computer data entry, production records, and inventory documentation.
• Support cycle counts, housekeeping, inventory activities, incident investigations, and other warehouse tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean production environment and comply with plant safety initiatives and PPE requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and address deviations from procedures, policies, and PACE values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Two to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and material handling.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Lotus Notes, and ERP data entry.
• Validated leadership and team-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to manually lift up to 40 pounds and operate a stand-up forklift; forklift experience is preferred.
