Material Handler II (Central Warehouse)

Salary: $23.75–$25.00 per hour plus a $3.00 shift premium

What you will do

• Unload, inspect, move, store, and put away incoming materials, parts, and products.
• Pick materials from rack and bin systems and deliver them to designated manufacturing cells according to routing, tickets, and orders.
• Load outgoing trucks and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, stackers, and other powered industrial trucks.
• Perform inventory transactions, bin maintenance, cycle counts, and required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and inspect work before passing it to the next operation.
• Train others on material handler tasks when needed and support manufacturing processes collaboratively.

Requirements

• Proof of previous forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation of sit-down and stand-up PIT equipment.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, stackers, and other manual or powered moving equipment, including passing written and practical evaluations.
• Three to five years of PIT or forklift experience; one to three years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material and use intermediate-level computer systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
