Summer 2027 Economics Internship

Location: Ohio – Columbus Metro; 12-week internship based in Columbus, Ohio, from May to August

Salary: $23–$50 per hour

What you will do

• Research macroeconomic topics and assess their business-driven impacts.
• Conduct market-based research on U.S. and global macroeconomic trends affecting the investment environment.
• Support ongoing and new statistical analysis and modeling projects.
• Provide economic and financial market research and analysis for business decisions.
• Collaborate with economists, associates, business groups, and fellow interns.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Be within two to three semesters of graduation.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Have strong financial acumen and communication skills.
• Show curiosity about the economy, economic indicators, and drivers of economic growth.

Nice to have

• Coding or programming knowledge in Python or R.
• Data visualization experience with Power BI or Tableau.
