Billing & Reconciliation Representative (Healthcare Billing)

Location: Office-based in Miramar, Florida, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Eastern Time.

Salary: $40,000–$52,300 per year.

What you will do

• Reconcile accounts monthly and document discrepancies with plans for resolution.
• Correct enrollment and cash-posting discrepancies related to billing.
• Communicate account status and issue updates to interested parties.
• Prepare account-issue status documents for management, market groups, and regional personnel.
• Interpret department policies and independently prioritize assignments within defined quality standards.

Requirements

• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is required, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages without limitations or assistance.
• At least one year of experience in healthcare billing, accounts receivable, revenue cycle, or reconciliation.
• Experience with payment posting and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of insurance claims processing for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPCS coding concepts.
