Salesforce Integration Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Define end-to-end integration architecture for Salesforce ecosystems across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Industry Clouds.
• Select and apply request-reply, fire-and-forget, batch, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Design Salesforce-native integrations using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Connect, and Composite APIs together with MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
• Establish API strategy, contract management, versioning, identity, OAuth, security, error handling, retry, and dead-letter standards.
• Architect high-volume data synchronization with ERP, billing, and operational systems while managing performance, scalability, and Salesforce governor limits.
• Lead design reviews, create architecture artifacts, collaborate with security teams and vendors, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of Salesforce experience, including significant experience with complex integrations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, integration patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major iPaaS, such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
• Experience designing data synchronization strategies with ERP and operational systems, plus strong knowledge of identity, OAuth, and integration security.
• Salesforce Certified Integration Architect credential and a track record of leading large Salesforce integration programs.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect certification.
• Experience with Kafka, Solace, or Confluent.
• Familiarity with Industry Clouds and high-volume integrations involving 10M+ records per day.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite ERP systems.
