Senior Director, Packaging Design (Color Cosmetics)

What you will do

• Set the creative vision and long-term packaging design strategy for the Color Cosmetics and Mass Scenting portfolio.
• Translate brand identity and consumer insights into commercially effective, trend-setting packaging solutions.
• Lead packaging concepts from product development through design turnover and technical packaging development with R&D.
• Drive innovation in packaging materials, form, function, and sustainability, with a strong focus on design-to-cost.
• Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Agile, R&D, Sustainability, and external partners to elevate the consumer experience.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a small packaging design team while leading benchmarking and innovation scouting.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep beauty expertise in mass color cosmetics and knowledge of UK, EU, and US markets.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
• Exceptional creative vision combined with business strategy, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent Adobe Creative Cloud skills, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, plus 2D and 3D visualization experience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and travel globally.
