International Senior Accountant (MedTech)

What you will do

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for assigned international entities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger activity, payroll entries, lease accounting entries, and intercompany transactions.
• Support foreign currency accounting, statutory reporting, and audits for international subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with local finance teams, corporate accounting, payroll, tax, treasury, and external accounting or audit providers.
• Support the migration of accounting processes, balances, and reporting from Sage 500 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Improve and standardize international accounting procedures, documentation, controls, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large data sets and detailed accounting schedules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills, with the ability to collaborate across countries and time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with payroll accounting, lease accounting, statutory or external audits, and international subsidiaries.
• Experience in a publicly traded or multinational company and in multi-currency environments.
• Experience with Sage 500, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, ERP conversions, implementations, or finance transformation projects.
• Experience with statutory financial statements and international audit requirements.
