Revenue Accountant (Healthcare)

Location: Eagle, Idaho, with a hybrid role based at the Pennant Service Center or a fully remote option within the United States

Healthcare services support organization serving home health, hospice, senior living, and home care operations across 19 U.S. states.

What you will do

• Oversee accounting transactions across revenue, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue processes.
• Analyze accounting, financial, and operational data and follow up on revenue cycle results with field partners and the Director of Revenue.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries and financial statements for month-end close.
• Compare actual results with historical trends, investigate variances, and explain financial results.
• Prepare, review, and improve complex balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Maintain and monitor SOX controls and support internal and external audits with reconciliations and documentation.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Excel, advanced Excel functions, Power Query, SQL, and data validation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work occasional off-hours to complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Accounting and reporting must comply with U.S. GAAP.

Nice to have

• CPA license or certification.
• Healthcare experience.
