What you will do
- Lead HR matters and operations across the UK, Jersey, and Italy in line with company and local legal requirements.
- Advise leaders on employee relations, coach managers, and respond to employee concerns.
- Oversee regional payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and immigration matters, including visa applications and status tracking.
- Monitor legislative changes and update employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Provide people metrics and reporting, including engagement and turnover data.
- Manage two London-based HR professionals and collaborate with global HR teams on transformation, systems, processes, and automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of HR experience; financial services experience is preferred.
- Experience with UK employment law; Jersey and Italy experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday and Greenhouse.
- Previous experience in financial services.
- Exposure to employment law in Jersey and Italy.
