Junior Software Developer (Go)

Location: Aurora, Colorado or Herndon, Virginia, United States. Active TS/SCI security clearance is required; TS/SCI with Poly is preferred.

Salary: $84,000–$151,400 USD annualized.

What you will do

• Provide troubleshooting and operations support for secure software systems.
• Develop highly secure cloud-based applications, services, and consulting offerings.
• Create new environments, services, and technical offerings in coordination with external groups.
• Contribute to architecture and security design for enterprise classification applications.
• Identify defects and implementations that do not provide high availability.
• Improve the customer experience through containerization and automation.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Go or another modern programming language.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Strong knowledge of Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Familiarity with microservices, Docker, software testing principles, debugging, and collaborative development.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required; TS/SCI with Poly preferred.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab workflows, Helm charts, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with API gateways such as Traefik and familiarity with distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with VS Code or modern development environments.
