Global Operations Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Wood Dale, Illinois, United States

Salary: $120,000–$125,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Consolidate global operations financial results, forecasts, and budgets across regional manufacturing and distribution sites.
• Analyze cost of goods sold, absorption variances, productivity, capacity utilization, and other operational KPIs.
• Partner with regional operations leaders and plant controllers on budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and deliver variance analysis and management reporting to senior leadership.
• Lead improvements to financial consolidation and forecasting processes, including cycle-time and accuracy improvements.
• Manage the global operations capital investment budget and build financial models and dashboards for scenario planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in operations, supply chain, and/or manufacturing finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience leading financial consolidation across multiple business units or geographies.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or OneStream.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills for working with regional and global teams.

Nice to have

• Financial planning and analysis experience.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA designation.
• Experience with cross-cultural or globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, VBS, or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
