Software Engineer II (Fintech)

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and deliver software iteratively under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Implement features and bug fixes using Java and/or Python.
• Write unit tests and perform unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Interpret and refine business requirements, document technical decisions, and participate in design discussions.
• Support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to operational readiness.
• Improve code quality, performance, tooling, and test coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java and/or Python.
• Intermediate experience delivering production-quality features in modern languages.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL schema design and query patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment workflows.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and participate in technical design discussions.
