Technical Product Owner (Software & Full Stack Applications)

Location: Fully remote in day-to-day work, with in-person collaboration in Berlin or Cologne when larger features, architectural decisions, and brainstorming sessions require it.

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements, user stories, tickets, and acceptance criteria.
• Understand how UI, frontend, backend, APIs, and databases interact across full-stack applications.
• Perform acceptance and smoke testing, work with APIs, and validate data to investigate system behavior.
• Coordinate team delivery, manage dependencies and open questions, and move features from idea to production.
• Assess feature readiness and contribute to decisions about quality, performance, monitoring, and risks.

Requirements

• Ability to break down complex business requirements into structured, clear, and testable work.
• Practical experience with APIs, testing, and data validation, plus an understanding of frontend, backend, and database interactions.
• Understanding of Git and modern development workflows, including branches, commits, pull requests, and merges.
• Structured, precise documentation and clear communication with developers and business stakeholders.
• Curiosity, collaborative working style, and ability to learn technical concepts quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Jira, or comparable tools.
• Background in QA, software testing, technical business analysis, or software development.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, AWS, and agile software development environments.
