What you will do

• Edit, write, and compose Technical Orders and flight manuals for the B-2 program.
• Develop new and update existing TOs, TCTOs, revisions, changes, and supplements from source data in multiple formats.
• Provide policy input, training, and technical oversight for Desktop Publishing and Common Source Database publishing processes.
• Review Air Force, AFMC, DoD, and military specifications and advise on editorial and functional requirements.
• Participate in technical meetings, conferences, and publication reviews to resolve issues and support equipment specialists and TO managers.
• Monitor publication compatibility and support aircraft test, delivery, and Flight Manual Review Conference schedules.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance with the ability to be read onto SCI is required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or a Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
• Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience with required certifications, including 8 years in the DoD.
• Technical qualification as a certified engineer, flight crew member with weapon-system experience, military aircrew member experienced in using flight manuals, or Flight Manual Manager.
