Technical Implementation Lead (ETL)

Location: US-based, remote; comfort working in US time zones and participating in regular client-facing meetings is required.

What you will do

• Manage an active queue of implementation tickets and projects, moving each forward against deadlines.
• Run client data migrations and ETL jobs covering inventory, customer, catalog, and transaction data.
• Follow and improve SOPs, quality checks, and checks-and-balances to ensure accurate, repeatable migrations.
• Troubleshoot data and configuration issues, coordinate integrations with third-party platforms, and stabilize incidents when they occur.
• Lead, mentor, or coordinate implementation work while aligning implementation, support, product, and client stakeholders.
• Communicate status, blockers, risks, and revised timelines proactively, including during emergencies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in technical implementation, integration, or data engineering, preferably with a SaaS platform.
• Intermediate-level or higher Python proficiency and experience with SQL.
• Experience with data analysis, transformation, ETL, or data migration processes.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, CSV, and DataFrame manipulation.
• Ability to manage concurrent tickets and projects, maintain documentation and SOPs, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Strong verbal English communication skills and availability for US time zones and regular client-facing meetings are required.

Nice to have

• POS data migration, Airflow, AWS S3, Metrc, or other track-and-trace system experience.
• Experience in cannabis technology, retail, transactional data, or a SaaS product or implementation team.
• Data migration experience in healthcare, military, defense, or another highly regulated, precision-critical environment.
